📄 Resume, cover letter, and initial screening

I see this first stage as the top of the marketing funnel.

You need to catch the recruiter’s attention by working on three parts: your resume, a cover letter (depending on the job), and the initial screening.

You won’t talk to technical people first because you have only PDF files and a phone or video meeting with a non-technical person.

Be ready to have a positive impact throughout the process. How?

Recruiters look for technical competence and communication skills. Let’s examine them in each part:
